We often are asked, "How will my program look like with the Toolkit installed?" The answer is, "Just like it did before, but with a few additional controls added to your existing forms." We add certain buttons to your Switchboard or Main Menu that open built-in features like the Search Engine, user and password administration screens, and allow the program to be secured at any time. For screens where data entry is allowed, we add add other controls for recording and viewing audit trails, and also for applying and viewing electronic signatures as needed.

To show the changes made to a database, we applied the Toolkit to the Microsoft Northwinds sample database and took screenshots of the results. Everything else is left the same in the program, except that it is now secured and fully compliant with the technical requirements of 21 CFR Part 11.
