FastVal facilitates the process of gathering requirements, walking users through their system and documenting the requirements as they go. Requirements can also be directly imported into FastVal. From this list of requirements, document authors create Functional Requirements, detail how the system meets those requirements in the Design Specification and verify that the system meets those requirements in the Test Protocol. Requirements are also inserted into the Traceability Matrix to ensure that all requirements are tested.
