Password Security for Excel using ExcelSafe

ExcelSafe adds password protection to all of your spreadsheets. Each UserID must have its own password. All users can change their own password and view the requirements for passwords.

Using the Change Password function in ExcelSafe – ExcelSafe provides spreadsheets with password protection. Password strength can be customized to meet your business requirements.

System administrators can update the frequency with which a password may be reused, how frequently passwords expire and if passwords require numbers, symbols or uppercase letters.

The process of using the Change Password function in ExcelSafe. All users can change their passwords, but only system administrators can customize password complexity.

All users must provide their UserID and password to log onto the system. The database records all successful system log-on's
Passwords must be entered twice to be changed
System Administrators can also open the User Administration screen to manage group security
Group Security is an element of demonstrating compliance with 21 CFR 11.10d, Limited System Access and 21 CFR 11.10g, Authority Checks
